Pastor Phil & Sandra Martin
"Phil"
Pioneered the church in 1985.
Came from a background as a Construction Supervisor;
Ordained Minister
"Sandra"
Former Monash council Office worker,
Now does Pastoral Care, ministers to New Christians, Counselling.
Phil & Sandra's interests:
sport, holidays, building, grand kids, missions.
Pastor Leisa Liverton
Completed a BA in Biblical Studies at Harvest Bible College.
Came to work in MCC's church office in 1998.
Appointed as Children's Pastor in 2001.
Leisa is single and her parents and sister live in New Zealand.
Interests: travel, reading, crafts, walking, the beach.
Our History
Waverley Community Church (Assembly of God) as we were known was born out of a vision by Pastor Richard Warner from Lighthouse Christian Church.

Sunday 3pm - church began in the school hall.
It was clean up the beer spills before church began.
Sunday school was in an open shelter shed.

Difficult to negotiate to lease.

Given approval to renovate 19 McDonalds
Lane, Mulgrave.
We purchased the property for $330,000 and are now debt free.
January 2000
There was a changed the name of the church from Waverley Community Church to Monash Christian Church and became affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches.
